Everything about prayer in Islam
Pillar dedicated to ṣalāh: learning postures and invocations, sunan ar-rawātib, night prayer (qiyām al-layl), khushūʿ (devotional concentration), and prayer-related adhkar.
Ṣalāh is the second pillar of Islam after the two testimonies. It is the first deed about which the servant of Allāh will be questioned on the Day of Judgment. This pillar gathers content useful for learning prayer, perfecting it, and increasing one's khushūʿ: the prophetic description of postures and invocations, sunan ar-rawātib (supererogatory prayers tied to the five prescribed ones), night prayer, and scholarly advice for living ṣalāh as a meeting with one's Lord. The articles draw on the six canonical collections (al-Kutub al-Sittah), particularly the kitāb aṣ-ṣalāh sections, as well as contemporary fatāwā from scholars recognised in the Ahl al-Sunnah tradition. Wa Allāhu aʿlam.
