Daily adhkar and invocations

Pillar dedicated to morning and evening adhkar, prophetic invocations (duʿāʾ) and formulas of protection authentically transmitted in the Sunnah according to the way of the Salaf.

The remembrance of Allāh (dhikr) is, after prayer, one of the greatest works of the heart and the tongue. The Prophet ﷺ transmitted to his Companions precise formulas for every moment of the day: morning and evening adhkar, invocations before sleeping and upon waking, formulas said after each prescribed prayer, duʿāʾ tied to ablution, meals, travel, entering and leaving the home. This pillar gathers content dedicated to these adhkar as transmitted in the canonical collections. The methodological rule is clear: only adhkar and invocations whose chain is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ or ḥasan) are taught. Forged formulas, rhythmic collective dhikr that are not transmitted, and innovated practices are set aside, in keeping with the posture of the Salaf and the fatāwā of recognised contemporary scholars. Articles consistently refer back to the original collections and to reference works (Ḥiṣn al-Muslim, al-Adhkār by Imām al-Nawawī). Translations of the Arabic formulas are presented with scholarly transliteration, the vocalised Arabic text, and an approximate meaning in French and English. Wa Allāhu aʿlam.
