Deen Coach user testimonials
Deen Coach is publicly available on the App Store and Google Play. We prefer sobriety over staging: rather than displaying reconstituted or anonymised testimonials without a clear framework, this page honestly presents early usage feedback and how we will publish future testimonials. Any named testimonial published here will require the author's explicit consent, in compliance with the GDPR and applicable rules for online reviews. This page will evolve as representative public feedback is collected.
First beta-tester feedback
Beta-tester feedback focuses mainly on the quality of the Madani mushaf and embedded Arabic fonts, on the precision of prayer times with the 18 calculation methods (5 base methods and 13 regional ones: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Indonesia, Gulf, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Singapore, Malaysia, Portugal, Russia), on the sobriety of the interface, and on the assumed methodological posture. Beta testers particularly appreciate the fact that the app works fully offline and that no data leaves their device. Detailed and named testimonials will be published progressively, after the public release of the app, and only with the explicit consent of the users concerned. No testimonial will be fabricated or anonymised without a clear framework to artificially inflate this page.
Presentation by use case
Rather than inventing quotes attributed to fictitious users, here we present the main usage profiles we have identified from beta feedback and the very design of the app. These profiles are not marketing personas: they are the real use cases for which Deen Coach was designed.
The student memorising the Quran
The Ḥifẓ module offers a memorisation companion with spaced repetition, selection of the Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim transmission via the way (ṭarīq) of al-Shāṭibiyyah, several downloadable audio reciters (including Mishārī al-ʿAfāsī, Yāsir ad-Dūsarī, Abū Bakr ash-Shāṭirī), and progress tracking by surah, ḥizb or mushaf page. The 13 and 15-line mode corresponds to printed mushaf used in traditional madāris.
The parent structuring family practice
Configurable prayer notifications, the sourced daily reminder, the tasbīḥ counter (with targets 33, 100, 1,000) and the complete adhkār routines (morning, evening, after prayer, before sleep, on waking, meals, home, travel) help structure the family day without saturation. No gamification system, no competitive ranking, no badges — practice remains personal and silent.
The new convert
The app includes a learning track dedicated to new converts, from the foundations of tawḥīd to the complete prayer, covering the pillars of faith, purification, and the first invocations to memorise. The interactive Arabic alphabet with pronunciation and the Islamic glossary of 99 essential terms accompany the first steps in reading the language of the Quran.
The professional on the move
The app works fully offline: complete Quran, 267 invocations from Ḥiṣn al-Muslim, 42 ḥadīths from An-Nawawī, 99 Names of Allāh, glossary, learning tracks. The qibla, prayer times according to the chosen method for the current city, and notifications all work without connection once initial location is saved. No risk of network outage in the middle of prayer or reading.
Store ratings
The first public Deen Coach ratings are not yet representative. This page will be updated with real App Store and Google Play ratings once they are based on a statistically significant volume. No figure will be displayed until it reflects the public reality.
Share your feedback
User feedback is essential to make the app evolve in the right direction. Several channels are available to share a remark, report a bug, suggest an improvement or testify about your experience. Technical feedback (bugs, feature suggestions) is preferred on GitHub, where it can be tracked publicly and cross-referenced with that of other users. More personal feedback or detailed testimonials can be sent by email. Any testimonial you wish to see published on this page will be published only with your explicit consent, within the GDPR framework, and you may request its removal at any time.
GitHub: public technical feedback
Bugs, feature suggestions and technical discussions are filed on the public Deen Coach packs repository: https://github.com/adisaf/deencoach-pack/issues. This approach guarantees traceability and allows other users to see what has already been reported.
Email: personal feedback and testimonials
More personal feedback, detailed testimonials and requests for publication on this page can be sent to [email protected]. For questions about data protection or an already published testimonial, the dedicated address is [email protected].
Install the app
The app is available for free on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. The `/download/` page provides direct links to the official listings. Deen Coach requires no account or additional personal information to get started. Only the usual Apple and Google terms apply when installing from their stores.
